LOCATION:
Costa Rica
is located at the southern end of Central America. It has an area
of 51.200 kilometers and has a population of 3.200.000 approximately.
Costa Rica is noted for its natural beauty, variety of vegetation,

CLIMATE:
Costa Rica has a spring-like climate and it is possible to
wear light clothing during most of the year. The average temperature
ranges from 68° and 78° F.

CURRENCY:
The official currency is the Colón. Foreign currency can
be exchanged or alternative payments. Alternative payments can be
made using VISA, MASTERCARD or AMERICAN EXPRESS.

LANGUAGE:
The
official language is spanish. A large percent of the population speak english as
well.
GOVERNMENT:
Costa
Rica is an independent Democratic Republic. The government is popularly
elected every four years.
